10 Most Dangerous Dogs

The 10 Most Dangerous Dog Breeds Based on Biting and Fatality Statistics
http://puppytoob.com/dog-breeds/the-10-most-dangerous-dog-breeds-based-on-biting-statistics/

I have owned two and a half of the breeds listed.

I have had a husky, which is my favorite breed, a malamute and now a Pomsky (half Husky and half pomeranian). The husky was the best dog I ever owned. He was a wonderful family member and absolutely loved my kids. My ex-girlfriend just had to put him to sleep almost a year ago now. He was nearly 17 years old. The malamute was add Paul Walker said in 8 Below, "all brawn and no brains." She was a good dog though. Now my Pomsky, he's proving difficult. We just cannot get him housebroken. He can hold his bladder, when he wants to, but he had powered on our couch 6 or 7 times now and countless times in the floor.

I've owned most of the dogs on the list and it's all how you raise them.

Personally, I like the sleeper breeds, which is to say that, a breed which is big and dangerous, but not on the dangerous dog radar. Like for instance, the English Mastiff is a wonderful breed and not known to be dangerous...but everyone's terrified of them because their so big. They're also very good with children. But I have no doubt that my Mastiff would jump into the fray if something happened.

Same thing almost with German Shepards. Good guys see the dog as a family dog, bad guys see the dog as a police dog. Shepards are very loyal. :)

I've been reading about caucasian shepards too. I think that's a good breed if one can afford to feed it!

Golden Retrievers make nice pets, as long as you treat them well. Gentle with families.

I've had several of the dogs listed. And if I could lift one when it's old, I wouldn't hesitate to get another Rottweiler.

Friends had a rather large Great Dane who thought he was a lap dog. He reminded me of the cartoon strip Marmaduke at times.
