When we study the bible, we see an interesting verse regarding the King of Israel Jeroboam:

And Jeroboam ordained a feast in the eighth month, on the fifteenth day of the month, like unto the feast that is in Judah. (I Kings 12:32)

Of course the bible is referencing the feast in Judah held on 7/15 of the Hebrew calendar (Tabernacles).

The feast of Jeroboam occurs now when Halloween is observed, and I truly believe (considering lost tribes theology) that this was the origin of it.

HOWEVER, the Celtic (Gaelic) Halloween is held by a solar calendar on October 31st of each year (Sanhein Day).

The Jews and Israelites, however, used a lunar calendar which meant the 15th of the month was halfway through it, or at FULL MOON.

This is where we get the idea of "full moons" at Halloween time. Werewolves, etc always change at "full moon". It's all in the Hebrew calendar.

Consequently, I understand there are really TWO Halloweens. One is celebrated on October 31st, and the other is what I call "Jeroboam's Halloween" which falls on the full moon on the 8th month. This year it falls on 11/11/11. Hmmmmm. Interesting.

I'm not making any special prophetic claims to this date, but I find it interesting and I wonder if this is one of the many subtle signs (like the coming lunar tetrad) of the times of the end these days?

It is certainly as accurate as your other non 'special prophetic' prognostications.

At least someone knew where they were. :chin

While some of us observe Veterans Day* this year, you should by all means feel free to play dress up and ask strangers for candy.:distorted

While I actually find that comment funny, :lol and take no offense, let me address your calendar issues and misunderstanding. The Hebrew day begins at sunset, so this "Jeroboam's Halloween" I mentioned is one day later than Veteran's Day as they may "overlap" by only the evening hours. In other words, everyone would dress up as you suggest hours after the most of us would have honorably honored our veterans. Veteran's Day is on a Friday. The day I propose is on the Sabbath--- However, it was the Gregorian calendar that was the subject here, because it takes place in the evening of 11/11.

In a similar manner, we all say that Halloween is on October 31st. But in reality, all those stories we've heard as kids about witches coming out at midnight and demons at 2AM most people don't realize took place on November 1, not October 31st. Of course who cares since that does not happen? But the point I'm making is regarding proper interpretation of the calendar, and that same idea applies to 11/11/11. In short, the evening of 11/11/11 on the Gregorian calendar is really 11/12/11 using the Hebrew date, and the 15th of the Hebrew month is shown as 11/12 on the Gregorian calendar conversion.
