This is the fourth one for the director... who also did / Day After Tomorrow / Godzilla / and Independence Day/ So... why is this director so into disaster films?

Well, it looks like the second trailer took some clips from a Gene Rodenberry show that was on TV a few years back, Lol

Anyway, I like films like this because they are thought provocing (sp?)
As far as the actual 2112 "prophesies", I don't put much stock in them because I'm already following a plan given by God that covers all possibilities.

Absolutely... I happen to like disaster flicks (partly cause I like action/mysterious/adventure films) and partly because I hope they DO provoke people to think about their life.

Taking stock in anything prophesied or taught out of the "film industry" would be kinda weird for Christians who HAVE the answer~ Jesus and Him crucified and risen again... huh?

Amen!! My fav is Independence day. I watched it 37 times so far.

My fav currently is Day After Tommorrow... It is SO intense!

I like the part when the SHIP ominously rears into the library windows... and is anchored before them by the crushed bus beneath. :puppydogeyes

I like the effects too. :crazy

Yes~ I just saw Independence Day last week. the Fourth ya know? To me it is so funny when the airforce pilot kicks the alien, and talks about how it is smelling everything up...

It is a victorious flick ~ well I guess most of these are ~ problem is they always have humanity saving itself. DUH! :tongue2

It might be a good film. I've heard about if for some time now. I'm already popping the popcorn so I can watch all the people freaking out over the date and film. If it happens, it happens. No sense worrying about something like that unless you have a reason to worry.

I guess I never take any flick with ALIENS in it seriously... cause I know by faith they do not exist... ...and demons which may masquerade as aliens ~ do not occpy a single shredd of space in my meditations. Under the blood of Jesus nothin' can touch HIS kiddos, eh?

ya know, I thought about watching this movie, but the world will most likely end in 2012, so I'll just wait for a free ticket! I'll just put a recliner outside, pop some popcorn, and actually be a part of the show!
