The reason I wrote this post is because nothing irks my nerves more than seeing Christians fail due to ignorance. I’m not saying the persons themselves are ignorant—NO!
But, what I am saying is their lives could be so much more blessed if they were
really acting on the truth and not lies.
White lies, black lies, little lies or any lie is enough if you believe it to RUIN YOUR LIFE.
Lie #1: Going To Church is All You Need to Do to Manifest Biblical Promises
This particular lie has stagnated millions of Christians all over the world. Literally
causing many to miss tons of blessings God has for them, resulting in a lifetime in mediocrity.
Every Sunday morning (and/or evening for some) Christians get up and go to
church. This is a wonderful gesture. I mean, what other place could or should you be on a Sunday, other than the house of God.
The thing that saddens me is this. Many Christians arrive at church frustrated
about problems they want solutions too. They cry and pour their hearts to God
looking for him to act on their behalf and provide them with a solution.
They repeat this motion Sunday after Sunday hoping for a change in their
circumstances and their life. Many believe their frustration will finally be dispelled and the sweet life Christ promises will finally show up.
But, like clockwork they leave the church service after church is done only to
arrive back home with the same problems and frustrations they arrived in church with.
All because of this lie: Going to Church is All You Need to Do to Manifest Biblical
Promises.
