A blessed Christmas to you! Jesus, the God-baby, was born!

do you have a picture of your self, as a baby , you show to people on the anniversary of your birth ?? I think not

What does your question have to do with the topic anyway?

I think the objection is over depicting him as nothing BUT a baby, but that wasn't the tenor I got from your post.

Good thread, and praise God for the One born of a virgin, who came to pave the way for us all to have Everlasting Life and Eternal Salvation in Him. Glory to God!

every time there is a Nativity scene there he is ,baby Jesus yep the guy is reborn every year

It's the celebration of an event in the Life of Christ, not a complete definition of who He is.

Jesus was never know to celebrate his birth , to have a birthday in recantation of going around the sun one more time . it was even said he ''may of been'' 30 years old when he died ?? which by the way is the event Christians are told to remember

You are equating it to a mere birthday celebration rather than a celebration of the King of Kings being made manifest in the earth.

Scripture foretold the event:
  • Isaiah 7:14: "Behold, a virgin will be with child and bear a son, and she will call His name Immanuel"
  • Micah 5:2: "But you, O Bethlehem Ephrathah, who are too little to be among the clans of Judah, from you shall come forth for Me one who is to be ruler in Israel"
  • Numbers 24:17: He would be from the line of Jacob
  • Isaiah 11:1: He would be born from the family of Jesse
  • Jeremiah 23:5–6: He would be David's kingly heir
  • Psalm 72:10: He would be worshiped and given gifts at His birth
And the prophetess rejoiced when she saw the day arriving:

Luke 2:36-38: 36 Anna, a prophetess, was there at the Temple. She was from the family of Phanuel in the tribe of Asher. She was now very old. She had lived with her husband seven years 37 before he died and left her alone. She was now 84 years old. Anna was always at the Temple; she never left. She worshiped God by fasting and praying day and night. 38 Anna was there when Joseph and Mary came to the Temple. She praised God and talked about Jesus to all those who were waiting for God to free Jerusalem.

Why do you not rejoice that a Savior was born to redeem mankind from their sins?

he ''died'' to redeem mankind. he was born to rule as king of the kingdom

Amen, Hidden!!

Why do you put died in parentheses? He was all-human and therefore did die to redeem us, but he was all-God and thus was raised from the dead to give us new life.

No, locust, he's present everywhere along with the Father and the Spirit as the one God. So, he's here in our forum noticing our words.
