Please pray for our family.
As many of you know I was widowed in December of 2003. Our family has always home educated our three children (9, 7, and 4 now), and the last two years I have been doing it alone.
Recently, I married a good friend, and a believer that I admire very much. I am requesting prayer for him, because this is his first year home educating, and he is starting with three children! I just want prayer that God will lead Him, as he leads our home, and more specifically in the area of home education because he is so unfamiliar with it. I am thankful that he is head of our home, and am thankful for his leading.
In addition, I would like everyone to also pray about the following areas for our entire family:
1. That God remains our strength this year as we all study, and learn, and grow in knowledge of Him first, and then all that He has created.
2. That Godly training of our children in their attitudes, and obedience, remain consistent, and is done with a Godly focus.
3. That the pursuit of our studies be blessed, and fruitful, and that we work hard in a manner that glorifies God by keeping our schedule, and making a good use of our time.
4. That God will lead my husband, and myself, as we choose the areas of study, and as we lead our children to Christ...ever praying for their salvation.
5. That we find a home educator's group that has a Godly vision, and that is closer to our home. The one we presently attend is about an hour away from us.
These are the main areas, and any more perhaps the Spirit leads you in. Thank you all, and the Lord bless you.
