A Praise to the LORD God of Israel.
Lust, it turns us to rust.
Greed always misleads.
Envy's far from heavenly,
Sloth made us wroth,
And pride just rots inside.
And wrath hath done us

off the right path.
And when Gluttony's
In front of me
I've acted quite daft.
But I've taken up the sword.
I'm praying to my LORD:
He is Israel's reward.
He poured for Egypt,
their deserved discord.
Our LORD is strong

Blue to red, the water bled
Flies and lice and frogs
Pestilence rightfully fed
Right upon the full Egyptians' livestock

Toil haunted the royal
Being beat by Boils
Thunder and hail did spoil
Those who kept Israel from their soil

Locusts devoured the crops
Egypt's ears and eyes
Denied the LORD's signs to stop
So darkness for defiance did draw near.

A death of all the firstborn.
Barely shewed Egypt to learn.
Pharaoh was arrogant and stubborn,
As he told them to adjourn.

They journeyed off to the Holy Land
Protected by the LORD God's hand,
But even though the firstborn died,
Pharaoh rose up again in pride.
But they cross the sea by the Most High's power
Chariots and horsemen were devoured
Moses put down the staff and lead,
To view the land before he was dead.

But Moses laid his hand's upon,
Joshua, the son of Nun.
To fill him with the spirit of the Holy One,
That he may see the promise live on (Numbers 27)

On to the Holy Land
The land that was holy
From the One that was Holy
Wholly a gift from the Holy

Solely, it was surely
That it was purely
For His people,
Albeit unfortunately
They did fall into folly,
God remained Godly,
the Most High remained Holy
Making the repentant jolly
And bringing them back boldly.

As he delivered Israel, He delivered me.
And I quiver
And I tremble
Before his Glory

Jesus Christ is in my Heart.
Let's Praise Adonai

He delivered me from affliction
From addiction
From man-made false doctrine
Crafted from foolish fiction.

Jesus Christ is in my heart.
Let's Praise El Shaddai.

The true light is shining,
The darkness is disappearing,
Jesus Christ is in my heart,
God's paradise is nearing! (1 John 2:8)

Jesus Christ is in my heart.
We'll Praise El Elyon.

For to fear our strong LORD,
Is knowledge: that I know is wise, (Proverbs 1:7; Psalm 111:10)
He did promise in his Word
He would make his children rise

Jesus Christ is in my heart.
Praise the Almighty One.

God gives a gift of strength,
Lifts us to the firmament,
When before the LORD we wait,
We surely shall not faint! (Isaiah 40:31)

Jesus Christ is in my Heart.
His face is like the sun.

Yes evil shall vanish.
Our faith in Christ will vanquish
the world and its evil ways.
Let's lift the LORD with praise. (1 John 5:4-5)

Jesus Christ is in my heart
Forever he lives on!

Lust, was taken in a gust.
Greed is gone, indeed!
Envy's taken far from me
Sloth has been tossed
And pride shall say goodbye
And wrath hath gone
away with a draft
And now Gluttony's
In back of me
left behind on the path,
'cos I've taken up the sword.
I'm praying to my LORD:
I no longer feel I'm dross.
My sins are wiped clean
“cos Jesus died on the cross,
but now lives on!

This is a praise I wrote to the LORD in spirit.

I would like this biblically and scriptually critiqued.

I typically write things personally, so I don't really follow any specific rhyming rules or anything. I want this to be to God alone. So I want this to be good. Also if it doesn't flow well in certain areas you point that out if you want.

And I guess if you like it, feel free to post it anywhere and use it for yourself. Don't credit me. Give credit to God.
