Not terribly long ago I used my computer to record a couple of songs I had written, using a small plastic microphone. Then I posted them on YouTube and posted a link here so you could listen to them and critique them.
Now I have gone to a recording studio and recorded a couple of songs I have written and again posted them on YouTube, hoping a few of you will critique them for me. Actually, I’m hoping you’ll say you like them, but it sounds less vain if I say I want you to critique them. Here are the links:

1.) Too many people are chasing after things
That won’t take them where they want to go
Too many people are missing the message
Of things they need to know
2.) Too many people are climbing up the social ladder
Not aware of what’s at the top
They ought to beware because if they get there
That ladder takes quite a drop
C-1.) (No words, first verse)
3.) I’m going to follow Jesus because what he teaches
Is going to take me where I want to go
Peace of mind is better than sunny weather
We all need to learn and grow
C-2.) Jesus loves you
4.) I’m going to follow Jesus cause in the final reaches
I will be safe as I make my way
Nothing can harm me or even alarm me
Or even make dark my day

1.) Jesus came down
He came to earth he healed the sick and lame
Everywhere he went he did the same
The world had lost its way and then Jesus came down
2.) Jesus Christ died
He was put up on a cross and crucified
He wanted all mankind justified
The world had lost its way and then Jesus Christ died
C-1.) Jesus Christ came down to save us
Jesus Christ saved us with his love
All of our sins have been forgiven
God showed mercy from above
C-2.) God in heaven needs our obedience
God up above knows the way
Jesus died to give a new beginning
We must follow him every day
3.) Jesus Christ knows
Crucified but from his grave he rose
He shows the way his wisdom he bestows
