When abbreviations like NWT are used, the poster seems to assume that we all know what that is, but I for one (maybe the only one) have no clue as to its meaning--just like to many other abbreviations that people use. Is it that difficult to just spell out the words for those of us who aren't up to par on all current events and happenings? :help

Hey Jon-Marc, would that be the Northwest Terroritories you are refering to there in your OP? ;) :chin

Context clues have told me it is a watch tower version of Scripture. I could google it, but if I don't know what it specifically is and haven't gotten another warning from the admins about something, then I assume I am not using it :lol

I'm not the most up to date w/ appreviations and new Christian lingo either...good point :thumb

i'll change what I can now. I'm at work waiting to start my shift, on a slow computer and time is short.

NWT = New World Translation - The bible used by Jehovah witnesses that has been edited to support their points of view.

Use the link to compare with the bibles you fellows are using.

I have no idea. It said (somewhere in here) that anything referring to that would be deleted. If it's some Bible translation, then I won't be using it; I only use the old King James.
