Abraham - Sarah – Jesus Christ - and the Antichrist
In the story of Abraham and Sarah the two incidences where Abraham deliberately called Sarah his sister and not his wife is indicative of the people of the Jewish faith refusing to call Jesus Christ their true messiah and instead simply call him just another Jewish prophet. Many think that Abraham's twice denial of Sarah as his wife is included in the bible simply to highlight Abraham's lack of character. But this incident is included in the bible, not only to highlight a character flaw in Abraham, but as a prophetical narrative to show that Jesus Christ will be ultimately rejected by the Jewish people and is a character flaw in the Jewish people in general that is repeated throughout the ages. Abraham's twice denial of Sarah as his wife represents the two significant events in history where the Jewish people deny Jesus Christ as their messiah. Once when Jesus Christ was actually on this earth fulfilling his messianic role which ultimately leads to his crucifixion, and then again when confronted with the antichrist where the Jewish people reject the true messiah Jesus Christ yet again and instead follow the false messiah, the antichrist, who leads them to their ultimate damnation. So here you have the story of Abraham and the beginnings of the Jewish faith and God reveals through the incident of Abraham calling Sarah his sister instead of his wife the eventual rejection by the Jewish people of his son Jesus Christ who he sent to redeem them.
God Bless
