Adding a file to a post

Is it possible to add a file to a post?
For instance a picture from my Images File.
If so, please explain how.
I've looked all over and cannot find a way to do this.

When you or if you respond to my post, scroll down....
You will see, Post reply,Upload a file, more options..
Hit, click to Upload file:
You will see a box, in it, it shows, choose files, highlighted in white, hit, click on that.
It will take you to some choices like, images, photos, docs, videos and such, hit images, or photos.
It will take you to your images, pick an image, then hit, click on it.
Then you have a choice of thumbnail image or full, click on whichever you choose.

Lol, maybe someone can explain clearly, with pics,....
I can only try..

I've been working with computers since DOS in 1986.
I can't find an Upload a File button.

That may be the whole problem.

I wonder if anyone else has this problem?

When you hit the post reply thingy, what is beside of it?
