Praising God for having His hand on me.

I almost took the long way home.
After Easter with the family, a walk on the beach always calms the soul, and as one looks out on creation, it puts things back into perspective. ALMOST. I was just a bit too tired, and sand is hard to walk in when you are tired...maybe I will go some other time. If I had crossed the bridge, this is where I would have been.

Praise God Gabby. This is why we must be able to follow the lead of the Spirit of God, and the only way is to communicate with God is to always be willing to pray and ask questions and be able to distinguish if it is the voice of God and not the voice of a stranger.

Little Angel...
This past weekend on Easter Sunday, an elderly man who has been in our congregation for;well, most of his life..He is in his 80's....Anyway He suffered a heart attack during the service...While the Ambulance was on route he regained Conscienceness for but a few minutes and his request was not to revive him, because he was ready to go home.....

Now while all this was happening, our Pastor kept preaching on the resurrection and made reference to the fact that none of us will be there in 100 years...The jist of it was that he said...was that we should all be ''prepared'' to go home, even if none of us are ''ready'' to go home....Having almost lost my life a couple of times, I can say with full assurance that I am ''prepared'' to go home, although I am not ready to go...Why am I not ready, Because I have some young kids and wife who needs me....If God were to decide to call me home, no problem, as I am ''prepared''....Eternal security is a wonderful thing....

Little Angel..While you are ''prepared'' to go, God did not see you as ''ready'' to go...Praise God for he has work for you to do yet....

Being the Prayer Warrior that you are, is a real blessing to the body of Christ...You remind me of what Charles Stanley said once...

Psa 118:17 I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD. I want to go home so bad sometimes that this verse at times is less of a blessing and more like a cross I must bear.

Well, they are calling this a tradition. Should we start praying now for a big wave next Easter? The island is pretty small, it wouldn't take much of one....

Thank God you are safe - it pays to listen to HIM!!
Yes, I think we should pray for next years blessings to be on hand so to speak, pray that God reaches out & that HE will touch the Lives of these gang members in His blessed way that only He can do!! AND Pray for the families & the victims who were wounded by these for their healing also.
