1 Corinthians 15:51–52 (NASB95)
51Behold, I tell you a mystery; we will not all sleep, but we will all be changed,
52in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet; for the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.

In the twinkling of an eye God makes everlasting our bodies which are temporal (or decayed in the grave).

Wow!

Nothing in the universe will last forever. Science proves this. And while we marvel at the vastness of it, we impose our feeble understanding of how it came into being, when (literally) under our noses the Bible teaches God will create a whole race of infinite bodies for us to occupy in an instant!

The universe was created fully functional. Adam and Eve were created fully functional. Adults from day one. How could light travel that far? That fast? In a week? The universe was created fully functional. The starting point was rather a starting phase / size. No one can prove or witness the universe as a speck of super mass. And in fact the matter across the cosmos could not be compressed into what the scientists claim. The so-called dark matter is actual matter unaccounted for since it doesn't fit into their crammed into one speck in the beginning big bang theory.

Old age universe folks suppose the light that we see today began at the point of origin billions and billions of light years away. If God created all things the way the Bible says, then he created earth with the light from the farthest star / galaxy already in contact. To do otherwise would be to skim on his creation (like creating Adam and Eve without vital organs which would "evolve" later, or as infants or even zygotes).

Doctor A.E. Wilder-Smith (holder of three earned PhD's) who used to be an evolutionist is a fascinating study on what led him to young-earth / universe creationism. What he called calibration I call presupposition perspective.

Google the late Doctor and you will find much useful information to show how learned people (even those brought up through the atheist educational complex) show YEC is valid and when given the biblical testimony (God's Eyewitness Account through his scribe Moses) is true.

I always figured that the light from the stars got here so fast due to the properties of time. We know that the further away from earth that we get, the less time has an effect. So even if Adam & Eve were on earths 24 hour day time, the universe was like in fast forward.

Details of the mechanics aside, you're right brother! It's absolutely awe inspiring to take in the works of God! No offense to anyone but, I find it hilarious when people post there is no evidence for God, when all you have to do is walk outside and look up, lol.

Whether we understand the mechanics of YEC or not is actually sort of moot. One doesn't need to be able to understand Gods works and ways to put their faith and trust into Him. That's the beauty of it, praise the Lord!
