An Unusual Invitation

Nice. I've never seen that before, but maybe they will start a new trend. I can see if speakers were invited to attend an event, they would have cost incurred and they should be reimbursed, but a lot of those pastor speakers make millions speaking. It's sad when the whole purpose of a pastor/teacher's speech is to make money for themselves.

On that note, I wish they were speaking here.
 
I don't know Miller, but I am personally acquainted with Jeff, and he not only doesn't have a whole lot, he really doesn't seem to care.

But, beyond the cost, I was staggered to see that one sentence about who they wanted to attend.

No. The closest one is Atlanta, and I really don't want to fork out the money for what hotels cost there. I'm kind of cheap that way. I imagine it won't be long till they have one in the Tampa area... this place is a hotbed of religious conferences. Even Orlando would be OK, since I would only be spending one night.
 
You could afford a hotel seems how they are only asking for donations and not trying to rob you.

Well, I'd still give them at least a couple of hundred. I know what it costs them to do those things.

People here sometimes volunteer at those to get in at no cost, only time and energy. I suppose you could do that - or you could watch it on video later. :) Someone somewhere will record it and probably put it on youtube.
 
I've probably heard the majority of what will be said. But, if they happen to come to this area, I would like to go.
