The sunshine vitamin D is now used in the treatment of Tuberculosis.

Now...... On my honor I did not even read the article yet, but I want to make a prediction as to what it will say. Like many vitamin articles, it will sing the praises of vitamins, but then they will add a disclaimer in the end, to the effect "but don't get too many vitamins, ask your doctor first and in this case, don't spend much time in the sun and always use sunblock". In other words, they toot the benefits of vitamins, but then turn around and say the OPPOSITE to add fear into the people's minds NOT to take them without medical "permission". Of course most doctors will say "you get all you need in a healthy diet" in which I claim there is no such thing today and are woefully ignorant of nutrition anyway. I sometimes think that's government forcing their hype on otherwise what is freedom of speech. They can't ban the article, but like cartons of cigarettes they have to add their 2 cents of claims (and that's all it's worth, too)
It's about 11:30AM here now. I'll read this article later and check back to see if my predictions were correct.
