Just another day. I don't work so everyday is just like the day before.

I'll be alone most of the day, doing yard work and getting the minor repairs done to the house, preparing for fall and winter. My wife is away for a few days, she's a flight attendant and having to work. In the evening I'll have dinner with a young man I've been mentoring for years, catching up on how he's doing and how his family is. He and I each lost a brother during the last year, we always seem to end up talking about that, commiserating with each other.

I think I'm going to drive up to the upper east side of Vancouver Canada to look for hookers and pushers. Should be lots of them around because of the American holiday.

My son, daughter-in-law and babies, Benjamin and Brooke were here from AZ for three days. It was Brooke's second birthday. What fun we had. My middle daughter, son-in-law and their two babies, Jake and Lexy, me and Grandpa. When they were all at my house wow, it was noisy. Lots of laughing and giggles, Praise the Lord!
Benjamin is 4 and all into trucks. Uncle Aaron had him driving the big John Deere tractor and the semi-truck, too. Then they all went up on the mountain and went fishing. He wasn't sure he wanted to go home.
But they had to head home this afternoon, so tomorrow won't be anything special we are all BBQ'd and partied out.
