There are so many really fine actresses from Ava's era and also the 2 decade before.
Back in the "Golden Age Of Hollywood", most actors and actresses could dance, sing, be comedic, as well as Act.
Many of them had previously been stars on Broadway, were excellent "Live" performers, or had been highly trained as dancers before they made the move to the big screen.
