Babbling Preachers, and Proverbs 10:19.

Preachers today go on and on every Sunday for up to an hour with their "message."

Proverbs 10:19 says, "In the multitude of words there wanteth not sin; but he that refraineth his lips is wise."

This puts into clear perspective what today's preachers are all about when they babble on for so long. Jesus obeyed Proverbs 10:19 in that He never spoke on any one topic for more than a few minutes. Just check Scripture to see that.

Apostle Paul violated Proverbs 10:19. and a young man died.

Joel Osteen came to mind when I read this.

He has a huge opportunity to preach Christ to millions and seems only to dwell on anecdotes and ear-tickling warm fuzzies regarding God's abundance.

Sad.
