so what? That's how we learn, asking questions.

It is my understanding when you have a question that will take the subject off topic, it is advisable to begin a new thread with your question.

You are correct about questions being important, and that is how we learn.

A new thread is encouraged for questions which would take a current thread off topic. The question could bring the potential of a more in-depth discussion of the question's topic, which can be a very good thing :yes

When threads get off topic, sometimes new participants (to the thread) get 'lost' in original intent.... and we prefer everyone to be 'found' as opposed to 'lost' :angel3
