Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers:

We are not Jesus... if i remember correctly those folks repented ...

Anyhow, few find the Kingdom because its a narrow path right, but Christ saved the world right.

This is what he says in his prayer.

'As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him.'

What exactly does yoked mean?

If we don't interact with non-believers, we'll be spending a lot of time alone.
And who are we supposed to witness to?
Jesus said to let our light shine and to be the salt of the earth.

In sewing, a yoke is an added piece of material that is added to a shirt up at the shoulder.
All Western style shirts have yokes.
The small piece of material becomes a part of the whole shirt.

So I understand it to mean that we are not to become a part of the unbelievers or the world...
It does not mean to not have any interaction with them or it.

In marriage this is important because the two parts Do become one.

The King of Kings rules over all nations and peoples.

Notice how Jesus refused the throne, bow down I will give you all the kingdoms, and would rather dwell with his people, and serve them rather than being served, and didn't want worship often slipping away from the crowds.

Thats the King of Kings Rule.

A true King and ruler and one in authority dwells with his people, and serves his people, he doesn't sit on a throne exalting himself.

For much of the history of Israel, Israel yoked itself to other nations and worshiped other Idols, and practiced other morals till they had none left and faced God's rebuke of being conquered and led out of their homes. I think Jesus's words of not being unevenly yoked is a very stern warning.

It's about marriage. We as Christians don't have enough in common with unbelievers to make a marriage successful. Sure we can be legally married but it's usually a troublesome marriage. Somebody is always unhappy.
The husband leads his family to serve and worship God. The wife sees to the details. The husband helps. This is the best way to have a marriage. Anything else is something else.

It also apply to friends, no?
I have a difficult time being with persons who totally diregard God because they think so differently about everything.
One girl i know, daughter of a friend, talks like a truck driver.

The work I'm in surrounds me with heathen.
But I'm a leader. And I stay that way.
Bad company corrupts good morals. But I make it a point that I ain't gonna stand for a lot of heatheness. And it gets respected. Doesn't make me popular...But that don't matter to me.

When trouble comes...Who will they turn to.

It's important to note that the context of the verse in question has nothing to do with marriage. Rather, it is about not joining with unbelievers in their idolatry.

2Co 6:14 Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?
2Co 6:15 What accord has Christ with Belial? Or what portion does a believer share with an unbeliever?
2Co 6:16 What agreement has the temple of God with idols? For we are the temple of the living God; as God said, "I will make my dwelling among them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. (ESV)

it does apply also to marriage when we get married w are yoked together we become on . it applies all the way around

And yet Paul also says:

1Co 7:12 To the rest I say (I, not the Lord) that if any brother has a wife who is an unbeliever, and she consents to live with him, he should not divorce her.
1Co 7:13 If any woman has a husband who is an unbeliever, and he consents to live with her, she should not divorce him. (ESV)

Paul handing out his own commandments. When did believers in Christ start living under Law.

I think Paul was just giving advice. Its better if one doesn't divorce, but its not a Law, your not going to be cursed with fire and brimstone if you do.

What about lying or murder? Are those just suggestions not to do?
