Hi everyone,

Thanks so much for your prayers. I have missed coming on. I am trying to recover, but the slightest thing sets me back. God has been gracious, though, and I am blessed by His daily mercies and provision. I hope to be on more regularly. The Lord bless you all.

Jeff, thank you.
I should have posted here. I praise God that He has given me a wise husband, who took me to warmer weather, and I have had a chance to get ahead of the pneumonia. I am building strength, and when I get stronger we will start all over again trying to understand the problem. I am still on steroids, but now there is a glimmer of hope that that will not always be.

God is so good, we were able to spend over three months in warm weather...I am still in awe of how, because we are not wealthy people, but God made a way and stretched funds. We are home, and glad to be home, but mostly thankful because our household is functioning so much better with a mom who can breathe.

While we were away, I was ministered to by my husband in word, in the Word, and in deed. His Bible studies not only ministered to me and the children, but to extended family as well. Praise God that He had a plan to use this all for His good. Many people of the body were used to minister as we traveled, and we are so very thankful to them.

Anyway, there are lots of little things to praise Him for, and big ones, but He is just Good and merciful, and I love Him.

Thank you all so much for ministering to our family with your prayers...prayers are so powerful are they not? I just love all of you, and am thankful for my fellowship with so many of you here. My love and thanks, and I pray that God bless all of you.

Thank you for your wonderful testimony on how God has been moving in your life. God does provide in wonderful ways.

Psalms 29:11 The LORD will give strength unto his people; the LORD will bless his people with peace.

Isaiah 40:31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

It's awesome to hear how God is working in your lives. I truly hope and pray for your health and the welfare of all those around you. You post whenever you can; we understand.

I would like some prayer concerning this awful disease again. I am planning to try to go off the steroids at the end of this month. Please pray for us about this. I have noticed a change in my personality because of these drugs, to be honest, and so I have a sense of urgency about coming off of them. (I have been on them since 2/07)The other thing, I have been on them for so long there may be strong side-effects. I have experienced these in the past a few times between intervals early on, and I had what we considered psychotic outburts for days....Michael will likely have to take a vacation. Last, I would like to thank God that we are even to this point. I became sick suddenly in October of 2007, but we didn't understand it until 2007. I was going through a spiritual attack around the same time, and have always believed this to be part of that. Anyway, It seemed so hopeless a few years back, and now I am even coming off of medicine. wow. Also, God used this to reveal Arianna's heart condition to us, and we are so grateful. God has done so much for us, and taught us so much, that we can't do anything but praise Him. If it is His will, I would like to stop the steroids. So, if you could pray when you remember, I would appreciate it.

I am glad for the opportunity to lift you up to our Lord for healing, though I am sorrowful to hear of the hard struggle your whole family has undergone all this long season. :verysad

How our Lord makes us partakers of His Divine nature is a mystery... :infinity I pray first that you will be made mindful of His ways in working a brilliant image of His beautiful Son Jesus in you. May the Lord Jesus shine out of your valiant struggle, may He be increasingly magnified within every second of your suffering, and in every painful moment, may our Lord be made known!

Next, because so often when the enemy cannot bring our witness down by other temptations, he attacks our health... :nod So I also see this as a spiritual battle. Especially, since there is a "fearful" struggle involved.

Therefore I come to our Father's throne of grace, in this time of need for MORE grace, and plead the blood of Jesus Christ over your physical life. I ask for our God to stand before the enemy and rebuke him, as Jesus rebuked the storm, and cast away the evil ones attempts to bring depression, oppression, and discouragement. I ask our Father to fight this battle for You to send the Lord of Hosts to quench every firey dart by His word.

I ask the Lord to be your rear guard, watching and routing out every enemy within earshot of His striking word! May the Lord blast away all supplanted authorities, and work a powerful hedge about you as you stand for that place of victory in the hidden wing of Jesus Christ!

By the LIFE, and the LOVE and the LIGHT of God may He overcome for you, and win renown for His glorious name through all eternity. May God be Praised and Magnified in you, and in your family as the old chains fall away, and Christ rises up in power. . .

May our Lord raise up His standard of love over you, comforting and blessing you through His children and may you be a blessing to them in return as Peter was when he was restored. So may our Father restore your health, and strength, to the wonder of and honor of His name.
