A turtle!
Well, he's hard to attack, I'll give him that.
I found his application interesting, as the Lord has been leading me as of late to prepare increasingly for casting down arguments, in particular those of the Jehovah's Witnesses (though I am befriending a JW right now and hoping we can discuss things amicably down the road, despite being diametrically opposed to one another theologically).
The thing is, studying the cults and learning how to refute them was never really my thing. I'm not one to be quick to point out the things others have wrong. I've always been more into simply presenting the truth. But I've seen a large increase in the number of false teachings being presented, and it is likely for this reason that the Lord has been telling me it's time to prepare now to cast down ALL the major false teachings being raised up against the truth, and the true knowledge of God.
So technically, while your turtle appears more focused on maintaining his defenses, for me it appears He has me preparing to use the sword more (an offensive weapon).
Some say the best defense is a good offense.
