"What are you, O mighty mountain? Before Zerubbabel you will become level ground. Then he will bring out the capstone to shouts of 'God bless it! God bless it!'" Then the word of the LORD came to me: "The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this temple; his hands will also complete it. Then you will know that the LORD Almighty has sent me to you. What if we start building and then can't finish? is the thought that often crosses our minds when we take up a project. Zerubbabel and friends had begun building the temple after the exile in Babylon, but what guarentees were there that they would complete it.
The world gives warranties, but the Lord gives a promise to us as a guarentee.
And the guarentee to Zerubbabel was, "The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this temple; his hands will also complete it. "
When you are unsure whether you are going to complete what you have begun, be it in your spiritual life or your work life or ministry, pick up the book full of guarentees and then you will see your faith rise to see it completed one day.
