Psalms 5:12
For surely, O Lord, you bless the righteous; you surround them with your favor as with a shield.

The Lord’s favor surrounds you if you have accepted Jesus as your righteousness and are living for Him. In short, it means you are shielded with favor. And when the Lord’s favor is on you, he doesn’t withhold any good thing from you. And if this favor lasts for a lifetime and it really does if you are living close to the Lord, what a blessed experience that would be. Not that you won’t experience any problems in your earthly life, but His presence will let you overcome whatever difficulties come your way.

He will grant you the peace that the world cannot give; a peace that passes all understanding. As the psalmist says, “For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime; weeping may remain for a night, but rejoicing comes in the morning. (Palm 30:5)â€Â
