Psalms 41:1-3
Blessed is he who has regard for the weak; the Lord delivers him in times of trouble. The Lord will protect him and preserve his life; he will bless him in the land and not surrender him to the desire of his foes. The Lord will sustain him on his sickbed and restore him from his bed of illness.

So many blessings for having regard for the weak!!!
Sometimes we need to ask ourselves, “Is our attitude like that of the Good Samaritan or like the priest and levite?†(Luke 10:29-37)

Actually in KJV we read the same as, “Blessed is he that considereth the poor: the LORD will deliver him in time of trouble. (Psalm 41:1)â€Â

The Lord is concerned about the poor and it is His desire that we as believers be considerate towards them.
We can receive the blessings that comes attached to the acts of kindness that we do for the poor and destitute.

Most of the blessings that we read in the Word are conditional and depend upon us doing certain acts for receiving blessings. In the New Testament, however, blessings come to us because of Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross (Romans 8:32) but still the blessings above are valid and God will honor a person who honors His word. May the Holy Spirit strengthen us to be considerate towards the poor.
