What is your favorite book in the bible and why?

I don't have a favorite book in the Bible. But I do like the book of Revelation because it foretells what the world will experience during the time of God's wrath and how to prepare the church for the next chapter on God's timeline chart. But I do like the book of Romans also. This is a great book when witnessing to people about Christ. If gives the basics for the new Christian.

From a fathers point of view, I like Proverbs. Some serious guidance there.
I also like Psalms for the poetry and Ephesians.

The old testement of the bible is not recomendid reading for any child.

Why is that, Bumpas?

Because it is racier than a daytime talk show,the bible packs incest,castration,beheading,cross dressing,polygany,sex slaves,seduction baby murder and that just the first couple of hundred pages.

(Smack in deuteronomy (25:11-25.)

We learn that the wife who helps her husband in a fight by grabbing her husbands eneny's testicles,shall have her right hand cut off.

(In the bool pof Samuel 11(16-20,)

We find the son of king David insulting dad by having sex with 10 (!) concubines on a roof top for all of Isrial to see.

(The old testement,biblical perversion at it's best.)

If anyone reads through the entire Bible (some do in twelve months), then they will read more Old Testament than New Testament. The Old Testament is longer than the New, so obviously they will read more OT!
