Yes, Jesse, there is SOME music we would like to forget going Ga Ga over.
Open You Tube, and check out a few of these.

not me ! Elvis, Little Richard, Buddy Holly, Brenda lee Connie Francis, Fats Domino, Everly Brothers

I TOLD you I spring from German Hillbillies. This is the first instrument I learned to play.

Bubble Gum music.... It was "supposed" to be geared to the 11 to 15 year-old crowd, but some of us teens (and even later) got into it.

Well, some of us were immature, and we liked it.

Dang! Walked right into that one.

Yummy yummy yummy I got love in my tummy

YUK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

S' plain to see... you guys jus' don' know good music when you hear it. I mean, after all, Hang on Sloopy was considered Bubble Gum.

bubble gum music is about the same as Pat Boone singing "tutti frutti "

I always liked the McCoys.
I saw them live in 1968 backing up the Jimi Hendrix Experience.
Rick Derringer had already started with his new style of music which came with a mixed reaction (I thought it was great).
I call this next song "Graduation Day" for Rick Derringer.
