One of my all time favorite meals.

East of the Mississippi River they are called Hobo Meals.
West of the Mississippi River they are called Bush Meals.

Take a big piece of Ten foil and put a hamburger patty in the center of it. You can add whatever seasonings you want to the hamburger patty, i usually add nothing, just plain hamburger.
Peel and dice up some potatoes, put all around the Hamburger Patty.
Strain a can of cut green beans, and put green beans over potatoes and Hamburger.
Add some salt and pepper, or whatever seasonings you want. i usually splash a little garlic. Many like to add onions.
Add one spoonful of butter. (so the potatoes don't stick to the ten foil).
Put in oven for 1 - 1 1/2 hours, till potatoes are done.

Out west (the Bush) they would just throw this in a campfire. Put on extra Ten Foil if you plan to do that.
Out East (Hobo's) would just throw this in a barrel of fire. Put on extra Ten Foil if you plan to do that.

We make something similar that we call hobo potatoes. Basically the same thing minus the meat. Cubed potatoes, carrots, onion, minced garlic, butter, and seasoning placed in an aluminum tray covered with foil or just wrapped in aluminum foil and placed on the grill.

I imagine beans, rutabaga, celery, broccoli, cauliflower, or any favorite vegetable and various herbs could also be added.
