Busy work?

It may just be me, but my professors just seem to love busy work. You know, those assignments which are given just to sap up more time and make the professor feel like we earned something. How do you feel about these kinds of assignments.

I don't mind busywork unless I'm busy, and when I'm in school, I'm usually busy with other busywork.

I actually don't get a lot of busy work but I do a LOT of reading from textbooks for hours on end. :crazyeyes:

I hate busy work; when all of your professors give you busy work its hard to have a life outside of school. Its kind of cruel and needless.

To me reading is busy work, unless it actually has something to do with the class. :-?
