Any Christian or Jewish Astronomers here?

My special interest is the subject of Bible chronology, in particular the Old Testament shmita - sabbatical year and jubilee cycle with its fulfilment in Messiah. As you know, the Hebrew Scriptures contain numerous lunar references and I have been using Peter Meyer’s ‘Lunar Calendars and Eclipse Finder’ in search of precision biblical dating.

My purpose in asking for help here is to request an evaluation of my study into what I believe is an ancient Hebrew calendar - a permanent calendar with a Sabbatical formula. I’m conscious of lack of credentials in this area and that is why I wish to submit it for assessment. It would be of interest to those whose background includes astronomy as well as biblical research. Is there such a person within the forum and, if so, could you please help by PM'ing so that we can get in touch?

Sincerely,

Chris

I'm no astronomer but being as this is in the history and archaeology section may I recommend that you do some research on an archaeological find called the Gezer Calendar, which is the oldest known calendar found in Israel from Solomon's royal city Gezer, and if I recall correctly it is written in an early form of paleographic Hebrew. Search for it on Google. I may be able to supply a link later.
