ive just spent a couple of weeks on walk about , seeing how in reality it would be to gather food, dig bait, fish, berries apples, find shelter ect i did not go realy basic though i could of, and i still used some money to get by.

its still quiet warm, had it been in a couple of months, or mid winter, im sure it would have been much much harder.

It'll boil down to "Tolerance"

TOLERANCE will be a legal requirement, and a "Condition of doing business" in the foreseeable future.

And since Christians CAN'T be "Tolerant", that will be the source of persecution. The "False Church", I think will be the world economic system - which is he LARGEST denomination of earth with Billions of worshipers - generally more committed to, and supportive of, the economic system than Christians are to their "Christianity".

It is understandable that we think in terms of our normal existence; the need to eat and drink water in order to sustain these physical bodies is indeed a fact. However, this remained true for the Hebrews in their exodus from Egypt while in the desert.

Here is the ultimate answer:

Do you believe that God will feed you? Do you have the faith to trust God? Do you believe He will give you the hidden manna?

EVERY Christian needs to examine this. It takes, REQUIRES, faith.

Do you have this faith?

And for those who simply read this; can you answer yes to the mirror? Can you look at yourself, examine yourself, and without hesitation believe God will do this for you?

This trial has nothing to do with image. Portraying yourself in some "solid Christian persona", the "other guy" doesn't matter in this exam. My faith will not save you. My promises will not keep you.

This is a matter of TRUE FAITH in God Almighty.

It sounds like you are describing the Tribulation whereas anyone not bearing the sign of the Beast will not be able to buy anything.

Good thing we will all be Raptured before all this happens, when Jesus comes to collect His church.

Getting food and shelter is tough enough in an emergency, but I had the unpleasant experience of going through a tropical storm once where we lost water and could not flush the toilet. Oh the inhumanity. I am definitely a creature of comfort when it comes to modern conveniences.

All you need to know is that God will keep you alive for as long as God wills you to stay alive. Ones own physical survival is not what counts. Ones eternal destination is what counts. If God wants to give you an early mark into eternity then be thankful, because the world in the end times will quickly become a hell on earth. Think about it, do you want to be around when the full ramifications of the Tribulation are manifested in this world?

Ask yourself, do you want to be living and look on when this prophecy is coming true?

God will preserve His selected messengers through to the time of the Messiah Jesus coming. But do not think their time on earth will be easy. They will see the terror of the beast and the wrath of God upon this world.

nothing to do with fear or not trusting, it can be done, and will be done, personaly its time for the church to stop playing church, and be real, and prepare, and begin to face and put things in place, so people one way or another can be sustained, people may by land, sell houses, ect
same as with joseph they had seven years to prepare, it could be some thing that is still some time off, or could be just around the corner, but for most people will carry on, right up to the last moment, then think they can put some thing in place, work while you have the light, time, opportunity, as night comes, darkness when no man can work.
just ponder if this week you could neither buy or sell, pay a bill, ect, the only people not to take the mark, of course there will be others, on the hole will be christains, so a perfect way to isolate christains,
i see it as one of the biggest challenges.
the more planning and preperation, the better the chance of survival, again i know many to are slain, for not taking the mark.
again it could be some way of, it still does no harm, to have every thing possable in place,
in case the unexpexted when least expected.
We grow vegetables, i get the seeds, dig the ground, water and tend the garden, God will surley do his bit, we also can do our bit.

My response: Yes, Yes, and Yes. However, the only place that the manna will fall during the Great Tribulation will be on Mount Zion in Jerusalem. The rest of Christendom will have to face implications that johnny has embellished.

I continue to maintain the rapture as nothing but wishful thinking on the part of people who want to read things into scripture that IMO aren't there.

This topic has been debated so it's not necessary to quote Thessalonians to me again.
The Hebrews complained again and again because of their lack of creature comforts during the Exodus.
Exodus is what's coming for the elect, but cut short as promised for their sake. Be grateful for 3.5 years verses 40 in the desert.

The Lords plan is Salvation.
His commission is for us to preach the Gospel.
He has made it clear over and over that patient endurance and faithfulness is required for the elect to make it through this time.
The living church CANNOT precede the resurrection. Scripture clearly indicates those who are STILL alive AFTER the resurrection. If you get out of here before the tribulation it means you DIED first. No free rides.

Sorry if it seems harsh, but I've said before why believing in a pre-trib rapture is a deception intended to weaken the faith of the believer in it.
Finding you've been "left behind" is not going to strengthen your faith.

The true elect come through the Great Tribulation because they did NOT shrink away from death.

He who tries to save his life will lose it.

The anti-Christ persecutes the saints, quit claiming you're a saint saved by grace and then turn around say, "But it's those other saints, not me."

I want! I want! I want my creature comforts! I want a free ride! I don't want to suffer. Seems to me one of the Lords commandments translates into, Thou shall not want.

We show we belong to the Lord by sharing in His comforts? No, in His suffering.
