What to do when I cant look at you
there is no pray I can even view
I only cry there is no stay
there is no longing
there is no play
there is no substance youve even proved
what on earth can I even do
Im tired of your words
your empty air
white words in the sky
pretty lies til I die
and dyings what I do
when I cannot look at you

It makes me sad when I cant talk to anyone....and what little bit I might see in someone that makes me think I am safe with them is just thrown back in my face ..trampled on.They pour salt in my wounds just like anyone else.

Are you ok? Was that last part your comment, or from the book?

Oh bonnie, that was the real you. Nice to meet you, I'm Chris :)

Nah, I'm just plain old Chris.
So is he. I couldn't listen to a preacher who was otherwise. (But, if you opened any of the links I've given, you've heard him.)

I'm actually listening to one of his teachings right now in the background. I do that a lot. (I'd hate to go back to the days when computers couldn't multi task)

What can I say? Chris just gets up there, and tells you what he's thinking. He doesn't use notes, and he isn't a practiced, polished orator. He just talks from his heart.

That's hard to do, it's like being naked in front of people.

I think you hit it on the head. He is just as insecure as any of us. But, he stands, transparent, so that we can see whatever there is of God that his words can show us.
