On a side note here, Lewis, the article says most smart phones drain their battery within a day. That's because everyone has apps constantly running and sending data back and forth.
My iphone (5C) was 58% charged yet after 3 full days. I rarely get below 50%. Yet, I use the Internet, and some data apps (such as astronomical and weather) but I just am not crazy about being glued to my smart phone the way most people are playing music and all that stuff. I use it for phone calls, texts, and a little browsing and info. The batteries are pretty good, and mine (even after three days) charges in about an hour and a half. But as these phones get more advanced, people are tempted to use them more and more, which is why there's a so-called battery problem.
My wife is an example. She has to have her exercise app going at all times to see how many steps she takes. This means it needs the bluetooth enabled (I have mine off). She can go from fully charged to 32% in one day. That's proof positive its the apps, and the things people have open all the time. You have to be miserly like me to make your battery last.
