Yeah i get them occasionally even here way out in the sticks.

Since I'm becoming the resident conspiracy "nut" here

We need more "nuts" here, they make the world a more interesting place. :yes

SALUTE :salute

It's been said that these trails may contain barium and aluminum. Exactly what their intentions are in seeding the atmosphere with these substances is unknown. What is known is: they are known toxins in both humans and animals.

Aluminum has been long thought to be a contributing factor in Alzheimer’s. This what I know about barium:

The health effects of barium depend upon the water-solubility of the compounds. Barium compounds that dissolve in water can be harmful to human health. The uptake of very large amounts of barium that are water-soluble may cause paralysis and in some cases even death.

Small amounts of water-soluble barium may cause a person to experience breathing difficulties, increased blood pressures, heart rhythm changes, stomach irritation, muscle weakness, changes in nerve reflexes, swelling of brains and liver, kidney and heart damage.

Barium has not shown to cause cancer with humans. There is no proof that barium can cause infertility or birth defects.

Both substances can be eliminated from the body by a method called chelation, or chelation therapy.

Thank you sir!! :salute
I remember not so long ago when people laughed at the thought of new world order, but now we see the reality of it.

I think it's a needless conspiracy theory.

It's water vapor and carbon dioxide.

See Wikipedia's contrail article and chemtrail conspiracy theory article.

Of course, a conspiracy theorist might not trust Wikipedia, as it's obviously put together by the powers that be that don't want you to know the truth! /sarcasm

I don't trust wikipedia, but not for the reasons you say. It's because anyone can edit it, and if anyone can edit it how can it be 100% accurate? I have yet to find one person that trusts that site, oh I guess your #1 good for you.

Thee main problem with wikipedia is not whether or not it is accurate, it's whether or not you take the extra time to check it's accuracy. It's a good jumping off point for further research.

-----------------------------------

The thing with water vapor and carbon dioxide emissions is they would dissipate rather quickly. More often than not, the trail behind the jet begins to dissipate while the jet is still in sight. This doesn't seem to be the case with the trails being questioned here.

So what are they and why is there opposition when asked to analyze samples? :shrug

So "they're" putting chemical sprays in the engines of commercial jets now?
:toofunny

I don't believe commercial jets are in question here. ;)

You're right Vic, I misread the first paragraph of the article :sorry

However, I don't believe that we are being sprayed for any sort of population control plan.

I have to agree with Caroline. What would they do without our taxes?

It's weather control, a friend of mine sent me a bunch of info on it. The chemicals are made right here in Utah I've been trying to find the stuff my friend sent me but so far no luck I'll keep looking and share it with you.

Yeah, I read a site that talked about rain cloud seeding, where they spray silver iodide and other things into the atmosphere to collect water dropplets.

While there may be some merit to this, no one so far has been able to explain why there are traces of aluminum and barium.

This article does shed some light on that question.

If one doesn't care to read this whole article, scroll down to where it says "BARIUM AND ALUMINUM CONFIRMED".

http://www.holmestead.ca/chemtrails/soilradar.html

You may also want to read the section right below it called:

U.S. CONTROLLERS CONCERNED OVER CHEMTRAILS

As I said in a post above, aluminum and barium are not substances we want in our system in large quantities whatsoever.

Actually Misfit, you may be on to something.

If we ARE deliberately making artificial clouds, what are the possible reasons? While there are a number of conspiracy theories--including very crazy-sounding ones-- the top theory seems to be that we are trying to cool the earth to counter global warming.

:screwloose Pumping substances know to cause harm to humans, some animals, plant life and the enviorment in general is just plain stupid, IMO.

Though contrails do have an effect on the weather, it's most likely not "weather control." There is such a thing as cloud seeding and weather control to that effect, but that's not because of the contrails left by commercial jets.

I trust Wikipedia a whole lot more than the Educate-Yourself site, which appears to be rampant with conspiracies. I just linked to Wikipedia because it was an easy resource to start with that's very usually correct on basic information. I'm also inclined to take seriously the articles that lay out facts in a methodical way and provide external references for statements, rather than an article that basically says, "oh no! look at the sky! we're being sprayed!" and only provides internal references. Not to mention the video linked to is just photos of contrails set to music... That said, it's good to have some healthy skepticism of any website. I'm saying Wikipedia has a pretty good track record, and I'm much more skeptical of a site like Educate-Yourself than of Wikipedia.

I don't, so I guess we just disagree.

Agreed, I'm trying to remember to bring my camera with me to work, I see tons of them over head around 12pm mountain time. I'll post some if I remember this week.
