This Week's Prayer Guide
March 23 - This week, pray for individual churches and pastors in Guilin, as well as their families. Pray for them to be strengthened in the Lord and for the presence of Christ to be with them.
March 24 - Brother P in Guilin asks: “Two of our three elders are bi-vocational and busy with their jobs. They don't have much experience in ministry, so the spiritual growth of our members is slow, hindering our ministry's effectiveness. Please pray that God will lead us and help our brothers and sisters grow in their faith, become zealous for the gospel, and fan into flame the gifts they have been given.”
March 25 - Pastor D in Guilin asks: “Please pray that our church will continue to faithfully preach God's Word, upholding Christ-centered preaching. Pray for our pulpit ministry, that we can continue to preach God's Word with passion.”
March 26 - Pastor D in Guilin asks: “For my family, please pray that I will not neglect my own need for shepherding while pastoring God's flock. Pray for my personal time with God—Bible reading, devotions, prayer, and holy living—that I will stay away from sin and temptation, and spend less time on my phone. Pray also that I can disciple my wife and lead my two daughters and my wife in family worship.”
March 27 - Pastor Y in Yangshuo asks: “The leader who was running our church plant resigned from full-time ministry last year and is now serving part-time. We really need to pray that God guides the direction of that church plant. If there's someone better suited to lead it, we ask God to raise that person up. And if this brother is willing to continue leading it more effectively, we pray that God would empower and encourage him.”
March 28 - Pastor Y asks for prayer: “Please pray for my family. I've been pretty busy lately, and I need God to give me enough time and wisdom to manage my schedule so I can spend more quality time with my wife and kids.”
March 29 - Finally, to close the month, a pastor in Guilin reflects: “I believe Psalm 95:1-7 really represents Guilin and its Christian community. We come together to worship our God, to praise Him for His amazing creation and salvation. NINGXIA HUI REGION
Located North China
The hui region is home to one of the biggest minority peoples in China, they are Muslim by nature and tradition and yet, God is doing a great work among these people.
Resources are being translated and adapted to fit their needs, but this is a time consuming and difficult work.
Hui people move all over China, they are found everywhere, please pray they would hear the true gospel as they travel around China.
Pray for the formation of a Hui church, this will take dedicated prayer warriors.
Beijing
Capital of China
China's capital is a tourism hot spot, with millions of tourists coming to view its treasures, millions come for the provinces of China to view the great wall and forbidden city, may they be reached with the gospel.
The church is tightly controlled, but it is growing steadily. Please pray that this growth will continue and speed up.
Please pray for wisdom for the government, that many in the government, may be reached with the gospel, especially pray for the influence of the gospel on professional people and university students.
Continue to pray for strong godly Christian marriages, most of the church, is made up of sisters, please pray that the power of godly homes may be seen not only in Beijing, but throughout China.
