Chip and PIN cards

New debit and credit cards are being issued with microchips embedded into them. But some banks and stores are slow to get the new equipment so they don't have them yet.
All of this will cause an increase in online fraud. *sigh*

Do you have one of the new cards yet? Seen any stores with the new readers?

Or do you use the touch-pay using your cell phone? (Which is going to become more popular soon as it has the same security as the chip and PIN cards)

This is new? Credit cards in Australia have had chips in them for ages, and contactless payments for a few years now.

America has been last in the issuing of these cards.

Touch pay has been around but not popular.
