That is it put ultra simply, life is complecated and so is finding ones partner.
What everyone needs to think about the suitability of the person they are dating.
That is to think and not just react according to raging hormones.

A person's "self image" of who they are doesn't always line up with their real identity.
And that's when the trouble starts.
Because trying to find a person to SHARE your life with (the good, the bad, and the indifferent) and ALL your secret hopes and dreams and fears and loves is difficult.

It's about giving up you for them...they in turn give the same... and when it's a giving relationship it's awesome and beautiful to see.

It's a paradox.

Formulas may work to some degree...but it's that grace giving relationship that works best. And not everyone can do that.

We should care for the other person first,,,and then ourselves.

Kinda cold around the heart was my first thought.

More of a business merger than a relationship was my second.

I agree; there is a long process, however things don't always turn out that way.
Mine are simple:

1. Meet people (naturally)
2. Spend some time with them and talk
3. If there is an accord that there is more to the relationship than friendship, discuss
4. Date (no special conversation or formula)
5. Proceed with future planning

I like calculations, formulas and deductions, however my dating life is pretty normal and spontaneous.

The bible never says do not judge.
