Well, I'll answer that, in a sense. Therefore you know none of you here on this thread are being ignored otherwise i would not have known the question.
First of all, of all the names here, there are only 3, and I think most of them don't post any more anyway (so maybe they want attention elsewhere).
I only get annoyed when when a very clear scripture is presented, one that is not meant to be taken allegorically or any other abstract way, and then they dance around it and twist the meaning to fit their notions.
Being the scientific mind that I am, I then paraphrase the scripture to make it sound as if it's my own idea coming from my mouth just to see if they understand me literally enough. As expected, they almost always do, even to the point of taking offense. Then, when I point out that I just stated exactly what the scripture says, I get more songs and dances and I am told why what I say means what it says, but if the bible says the same thing then it means something else. :o
There is no logic to decipher my words literally and the same words of the bible in some other manner. And to boot, these same folks usually have long-winded posts as if they will be heard by their much speaking. After awhile I just got tired of scrolling through it all and decided to "abbreviate" the threads.
