Hi, I drew this picture in response to the "unity tree" idea, I sent it out to my family and freinds yet no one will tell me what they think about it. I was wondering if I possibly offended all of them or if they just prefer not to comment.
The cross is symbolic of the wooden cross that Jesus died on, it is placed on the ground similar to how an old fallen tree "nursery tree" in the forest feeds a new tree, the cross has fed and is the basis of Christmas, sybolized by the roots covering the cross. The bark of the cedar tree, that I was thinking of has a red hue, but as I drew it reminded me of the sacrifice that Jesus made.
