How can community policing be improved to have a better relationship with the Black, Hispanic, Mexican, and other diverse communities? What is the role of the Church?

I believe Peter deals with relationships with everyone Christian or other "Respect everyone, love your fellow believers, honour God, and respect the Emperor"(I Pet. 2:17).Everyone is obliged to obey the laws of the country they find themselves ."Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established...he who rebels against the authorities is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgement on themselves."(Rom 13:1-2) Also "Remind the people to be subject to rulers and authorities, to be obedient , to be ready to do whatever is good...peaceable and considerate , and to show true humility toward all men."(Tit.3:1-2)
Obviously as private citizens you have an official mandate to assist the local police in upholding the law in your neighborhood assuming that your Police Community Forum is representative of all the inhabitants no matter what culture .Your duties must be performed with "respect everyone" (1 Pet.2:17)Some folks volunteer to assist firemen , ambulancemen ect . What makes community policing any different, when it boils down to the interests of that particular community.Someone has to deal with "he who rebels" and refuses to do an honest days work and chooses to steal rob , murder and all the other things the ungodly can devise. That is why prisons are there for those who don't listen to Christ and refuse to co-operate in normal society.

Admin here... We have had enough posts threads that are nothing but hate the cops... We know it is a political year and tempers run high... This election is a heavy topic etc... Political figures are open to our cross examinations they are public persons although we should be more Christian where they are concerned ( self Included) speak out against policies more then the person.. ..
Police officers are working men and women putting their lives on the line... ... Some are members of families here at CFnet.. Some are friends.. The hate being posted at CFnet is not acceptable.christian behavior...... Lets say what we believe to be true while remembering we are first Christians..

I'm sorry Tony but I cannot 'respect everyone' in the context of 'love your neighbour' or 'honor all men', not even God is a respecter of man and I don't think you can honor what some people are doing in this world.

The Book of Exodus teaches us how Satan operates. If the police officer or citizen doesn't understand how to live for God, the law of sin and death will dominate them with sin.

It seems that you would have clearly made a point other than the obvious one that if we are faithful to study we will learn of that Old Devils methods, did I miss something else that should be obvious but my failing Cranial Functions missed?
