So for 40 days, I abstained from my laptop and tablet. I put them away. I got a lot of personal reading and studying done. I was doing this for God. He gave me the power to go 40 days without the computer. Now that I'm back on, Im having trouble managing time, doing my computer related goals, I get sucked in, and then before I know it, it's 2 am. I'm asking got prayers that God will help me use my computer and tablet wisely to educate myself, organize my notes, carry out goals, do God's will, and limit my computer time.

I would like to praise YHWH in Jesus Christ's name, for he has helped me to
● Abstain from my laptop and tablet for an unimaginably longer time then ever.
● Gain wisdom an education
● Accomplish biblical readings, and personal readings
● Gain confidence (a few told me they noticed a difference)
● Got devotionals done
● became more organized... and I don't want to slip up upon returning to my computer. I was fitting so much in my time.

Pray that God softens my heart that I may become more selfless and altruistic, also open, encouraging, and compassionate to others as Yeshua was.

I also need some prayers for my mothers health, and my friend's poverty.

Dear Father, You know the heart of this dear brother, the compassion he has for others, and want to glorify You in the way. Please help him manage his allotted time when using these wonderful tools to know more of Jesus, and to serve others. Our steps are ordered of You, You know the steps we take, and they are that which brings us to glorify You. I also come before You Father this morning to heal his mother and help his friend in his time of need. Thank You Father in the precious name of Jesus. Amen.

Brother Yosef, there are many things and ways God gives us to help others, and in this present age I personally think the computer allows us the privilege of giving devotionals to others in a manner never before realized, but of course we must use all things wisely. A comparison you might be able see is the availability of our present transportation freeing us from uncountable hours going and coming. If I use it as a tool God has given me it liberates my time in the things I want to accomplish. If I use it as a toy it can waste my time and become unnecessarily costly. There was a time my own dad walked eight miles to catch a ride to go another thirty some miles to work; what a blessing when God gave him transportation of his own.

Blessings in Christ Jesus. :wave2

Eugene has so eloquently prayed and said all I intended to say (except the part about his dad...I didn't know that), so I'm merely going to add that you, your mother and your friend are in my prayers, YosefHayim .

Hello! I understand how sometimes things get out of balance. Will pray God gives you wisdom on how you should spend your time.
