Concern regarding the Satanic Rock group Dawn of Ashes

Hello;

My name is Mark Truman, I am 46 & live in Kentucky. I have come across and have been concerned with the children that are in my town regarding this rock group called "Dawn of Ashes". I have been seeing local children in my area wearing articles of clothing that support this group and I am extremely appalled with the content that this group has been displaying. I have done further research and the group promotes immoral content that goes against Christianity. They promote drug abuse, desecration of the church, sexual violence, gay sexual activity and much more. I am writing here to see if there is a way to stop this group from spreading their awful content.

From what I know (heard of) about this band is that their lyrics are based on real life death situations, mutilation, horror etc. These lyrics are pulling our younger generation away from God as I suppose most music is now days in many different forms, but these guys are just more "in your face" about it. This bands image and lyrics are horrible, but they don't hold a candle to the band 'Deicide and their lyrics. These guys actually speak against Christianity, God, Jesus and the Trinity. Deicide has received considerable controversy relating to their albums and lyrics, which include vehement anti-Christian themes, such as "Death to Jesus", "F* Your God", "Kill the Christian", "Behead The Prophet" and "Scars of the Crucifix", among others. Drummer Asheim said, "The whole point of Satanic music is to blaspheme against the Church" And many bands today have spawned out from their music.

There really isn't much you can do. You can write to venues, the band, their distributor, etc. and voice your opinion. But since this is the USA, the band is entitled to their free speech and business rights. You don't have to like what they are doing, but unless they do something illegal then you really can't stop them. Your best bet is to promote what you would call better more holy music.
 
Like someone else said...there's really nothing you can do. And to be honest, it's up to the parents to take care of their own children.
