I have seen many horror stories on TV about people getting neat out of getting their homes fixed up, I have seen it for myself out here on the street. I have seen great Christians beat out of their money trusting a rouge contractor, and especially older people, and it makes me very angry that some idiot beats our senior folks out of the money that they saved from working all of their lives go up in smoke. I just don't get that, how can you do this to people.

Many elderly can't do handyman type things for themselves any longer, so they have no choice except to hire others. They have no negotiating power, since they don't have any alternatives. My neighbor had a lawn service rake his leaves. I wondered if this might be a good idea, so I went on-line to price it. Lawn services charge an average of $350 to rake someone's leaves.

"... for a grand total of around $320 to $375." Wow, $350 to rake leaves? I pray that the Lord keeps His people healthy enough so that we can rake our own leaves.
