Could Exodus 19 be a picture of the rapture?

I was reading the other day and came across this section of Scripture. I noticed that it appeared to be a sort of picture of the common teaching of the rapture of the church. IF the teachings about the rapture are true that is. I find it amazing that I haven't ever heard anyone use this section when teaching on the rapture, but maybe I am just in the dark on this one and it is common knowledge to everyone else. :shrug

So take a look at with an open mind and let me know what you think.

Exo 19:10 And Jehovah said to Moses, Go to the people and sanctify them today and tomorrow. And let them wash their clothes.
Exo 19:11 And be ready for the third day. For on the third day Jehovah will go down before the eyes of all the people on the mountain of Sinai.
Exo 19:12 And you shall set limits to the people all around, saying, Be careful for yourselves, not going up into the mountain and touching its border; everyone touching the mountain dying shall die.
Exo 19:13 Not a hand shall touch him, but stoning he shall be stoned, or piercing he shall be shot through. He shall not live, whether animal or man. At the sounding of the ram's horn, they shall go up into the mountain.
Exo 19:14 And Moses went from the mountain to the people. And he sanctified the people, and they washed their clothes.
Exo 19:15 And he said to the people, Be ready for the third day. Do not approach a woman.
Exo 19:16 And on the third day, it being morning, it happened: There were thunders and lightnings, and a heavy cloud on the mountain, and the sound of a ram's horn, very strong! And all the people in the camp trembled.
Exo 19:17 And Moses caused the people to go up from the camp to meet God. And they took their stand at the lower part of the mountain.

1 Corinthians 10:11
Now all these things happened unto them for examples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.
