My father passed away Wednesday morning. He was 80 and very ill. I had the opportunity to talk with him many times about Jesus and his salvation. When I wasn there in September, I shared how passionate God is about Dad being with Him forever and the Prodigal son. We've talked since then.

His attitude was that it is the ultimate hypocrisy to lead a life without God and then claim Jesus at the end.

My mourning and missing him will ease, but I have a deep sadness about where he is right now. God's grace Is sufficient, but it doesn't feel that way... Also, His words won't return void, so I know I made an impact. But did Dad ask the Lord into his heart before he died? Pray for peace for me on this.

Blessings.

I will pray that you find peace , its hard to loose someone you love .

Blessed are the peacemakers for they shall be called the children of God.

gal,

I am so sorry for your loss, and you have my prayers...along with your whole family. Trust in the Lord. The Lord bless you.

Lovely

Hello Lisa

After reading your post I came to the conclusion that what your dad may have been trying to tell you is this: Your dad said" It would be hypocritical to go thru life without God & claim Him at the End?" Reading this from an outsiders point of view- I believe your Dad always had a relationship with our Lord, and that was probably his way of telling you.
