Apparently the Daily Show is having a special all week called Evolution Schmevolution. I caught tonight's episode and it was pretty funny. One segment had Jack Black commenting on clips of two creationists, one of them Dr. Dino, making fun of his fake doctorhood and his sham degree. Then the guests were panelists, an evolutionist, and IDer, and some kooky metaphysical chick. The IDer actually sounded pretty reasonable and intelligent. This episdode should air again a couple times tomorrow, and then there will be a new evolution episode tomorrow night---so fans of the show should definitely watch.

I have been catching it all week. On the first day they went to the town where the scopes monkey trial was help and interviewed some creationists. They played it out that people were recreating the scopes monkey trial like Williamsberg, VA re-enacts the Civil War. They kept congratulating people on being good actors.

The seond day had one of the reporters take a monkey with him so he could see the differences. It was stuff like "I like to read the editorial secion of the newspaper and he likes the gossip page."

What cracked me up was yesterday they show that 98.5% of human and chimp DNA are the same. They then said "the 1.5% results in us having wars."
