Janney Elementary School in Washington, DC, recently gave children as young as four years old (up through nine years old) a lesson on “anti-racism.”

The goal is likely to breed hatred in society against certain groups of people. Odd that the title is the opposite. We had anti-racism stuff back in well, some decades ago and they taught us that all people are the same under the skin. That’s how you counter racism, with truth.

Seems to me that anti-racism is just what we should be. Why not educate kids early to avoid it?

Color blindness was an attempt to rectify racism, but it falls short. Individually it works, but demographicly it tends to ignore major issues.

A lot of what seems to be talked about in the article us being aware of the past and where do we go from here. I think it's going to be clunky at first, but teachers and other educators will eventually figure out an effective way of talking about these topics.

No, I think educators will teach them a word to use against anyone whose view does not match their own, as many adults now do. If you do not like a position, then call the person a "racist." That is what the kids are learning. And that a racist is the worst kind of person and not a person who is prejudice against a race but a nasty, awful human being.

I think being anti-hate is better. "Anti-racism" teaches hating one group of people, whose definition is how they think. That is, it is allowing people to have anyone who they think thinks their race is superior, that is, if they are of a particular one which I cannot name lest one accuse me of racism.

So "anti-racism is pro-racism" in your estimation. Big Brother is strong in you.

No. Anti-racism directly opposes hating different groups. That's what racism did. Yesterday another racist domestic terrorist killed 10 people in a planned mass shooting. It wasn't anti-racist teaching that made him convinced that black people were "replacing us."

Rather, white supremacist politicians screaming those ideas, inspired him to go and do something about it.

Sounds like you are afraid someone would call you racist. May I ask what view do you think will result in you being called racist?

You misunderstand. I care about injustice and have noticed the slur „racist” is used as an insult by author. Trudeau called the truckers “racists.” University professors have been called “racists” because Marxists wanted them out. Injustice is something real christians care about, not just their own well-being.

Don't remember anyone calling Jesus a racist. Maybe someone who thought he was Jesus...
