[__ Prayer __] Deadly tornado moves across Florida

Please pray for those who lost loved ones, those injured, and those who have been left homeless by the tornado that moved across Florida last night. Pray for God to guide search and rescue workers.

It was almost 200 miles away.

I saw one report that said the tornado touched down in central Florida, and moved east all the way to the Atlantic - near Daytona. If it had been about 70 miles south, it would have moved through the Orlando / Disney World area, and possibly killed thousands.

Even non-believers are wondering what is happening in Florida.

The tornado that hit today was near the same area where tornadoes touched down on Christmas day. Volusia County was hit both times.

It is not far from the spot where the eye of Hurricanes Charley, Francis and Jeanne crossed paths in 2004.

Yesterday was the one year anniversary of the storm that dropped 12 inches of rain on St. Pete (causing wide spread flooding and collapsing several roofs)

They (Channel 6) also have a report about a deaf lady (she wears 2 hearing aids) who says that the tornado was so loud that it woke her up. She rolled out of bed and grabbed a hold of the carpet, and survived.


By the way; there are still dozens of people reported missing.
