Deaf boy hears

Why is it cool Willie?
Whoopsy, I'm not being clear.
Praise God, Willie!

It's great your church was involved with something like this. Thanks for sharing!
Sorry, I understand now its proof of miraculous intervention. That's why I asked the question, because Willie didn't say what was specifically cool. But now I know, thanks.

That's excellent!
Is your church going to help them get a car? Or is the burden of insurance too much for them?
I'm not sure. Sometimes we buy people cars, but as you said, often they can't handle the ongoing expenses of having a car. In many cases, we just give out monthly bus passes. It's not uncommon for them to have lost their licenses.

Great story! I hope they can get his younger brother an implant as soon as possible because if he is completely deaf it wont do much good later in life to get an implant.

No, not particularly. Seeing a kid get something like a new heart, or kidney, or an artificial limb wouldn't really be what most of you (unbelievers) would call miraculous intervention... just naturally advanced medical technology. And this is all it is to many people.

What was cool about this is that it might not have happened if several of us didn't know how to navigate the maze of red tape and bureaucracy that was involved, and also that we had some connections with the doctors, and the facility that did the operations. But, we did, and more importantly those people kept grinding away to ensure that it all came together. This didn't happen overnight.

Those two other women you saw in the video are nothing short of human dynamos, and their belief and work made most of it happen. (Maybe they aren't running the video anymore.)

Thanks willie, that clears up my previous misconception.

I often have to chuckle at unbelievers. One of the primary things they (maybe, you?) like to say is that we Christians have to be open minded about things other than Christianity.

But, I have noticed that this axiom doesn't seem to apply to unbelievers also being open minded about Christianity. I think anyone loses a lot of credibility when they mainly just try to prove the other person's view is invalid.
