Deception on the Forum?

People keep talking about deception in the church.
How about right here on the forum?
People come on as a guest so you can't see them until they write, and then you don't know if they are still here.
Is that not deception in the church?
And some people won't allow you to look at their profile.
What are they trying to hide?
Is that not more deception in the church?
We shouldn't try to tell others how to be right as Christians until we at least show our faces to those around us.

Anyhow. Most the time here its better not to say anything. Most the time they just debate discussions with no conclusions. To many shephards and no sheep. Its like the clash of the tradesman. Like a group of builders trying to agree what way a house should be built. They all have there own short cuts.

We live in a world of caution, which in many ways is needed. Being anonymous is it's own refreshness to that. But yeah it also means there's no real punishment or correction, so it can be abused to just have a malicious voice on the Internet. No one can call you out and have it stick.

So what do we do? Rise above it as best we can. We live in a world where there's a pro and a con to being unknown. My thought to be above it is to be good, and to be generous in our kindness, but not to be swayed away from our knowledge of God to false perspectives or rotten behaviors. If we rise above it sometimes we might win someone to model after us, and try to be better men and women. Even better is if they realize the truth about God and find Him.
